This year's comedy "Mean Girls" celebrates its tenth anniversary. On the occasion of the anniversary: Tina Fey, Lindsay Lohan, Rachel MakEdams, Amanda Seyfried and Lacey Chabert starred in a photo shoot and gave an interview to a special issue of Entertainment Weekly.

According to Lindsay Lohan, originally she wanted to play the queen of the school Regina George (this role eventually went to Rachel MakEdams):

I was only 17 years old, and I really wanted to play the bitchiness and the Powerpuff Girls.

It is noteworthy that at the same time Rachel MakEdams auditioned for the role of Cady Chiron, who got Lindsay:

I passed the casting for the role of Cady, but then the director invited me to play Regina. It was that we switched roles with Lindsey.

At the end of the interview Lindsey added that Mariah Carey is a big fan of "Mean Girls":

I use the services of a makeup artist Mariah. Whenever meeting Carey says "On Wednesdays we wear pink." Mariah loves this movie!
